Norfolk,Va- Joseph White, Norfolk State University’s defensive back, has been named the HBCU National Player of the Week by BOXTOROW!
White, who is a graduate student from Virginia Beach, Va., had an outstanding performance in the Spartans’ 31-23 victory over Hampton in the Battle of the Bay. He recorded five tackles, with three being solo tackles, and had three pass breakups. But that’s not all! On Hampton’s last two potential game-tying drives, White made a crucial impact by breaking up a pass and intercepting a pass on the last drive to secure the win for the Spartans.
