Grambling State Women’s Soccer Places Six on 2023 SWAC Preseason Teams, Predicted to Finish Third in SWAC

GRAMBLING, La. | Six Grambling State University women’s soccer players received recognition in the 2023 SWAC preseason honors. The team was projected to finish third in the conference standings. Beatriz Kretteis was named Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, Adrianna Pratt was named Preseason Defensive Player of the Year, and Karlyn Judge was named Preseason Midfielder of the Year. Kretteis, Pratt, Judge, and Samantha Diaz were all selected for the All-SWAC First Team. Nia Harley and Aria Whitney earned second team honors. Kretteis had an impressive performance last season, ranking third in goals scored and assists in the conference. Pratt anchored a strong defense, allowing only three goals against conference opponents. Judge, as a sophomore, scored six goals and had four game-winning goals. Diaz also had a successful season, scoring five goals.
