Grambling State Women’s Cross Country Finish 4th at ULM Warhawk XC Festival

Monroe,LA- The Grambling State University women’s cross-country team had an impressive performance at the ULM Warhawk XC Festival! They secured a strong fourth-place team finish, showcasing their skills early in the season. The team’s total time was 1:59:38, with an average time of 23:55.
Ruth Kibet led the GSU runners and achieved an outstanding sixth-place individual finish, completing the race in 19:50.2. Mercy Kwabai also had a fantastic run, securing 12th place with a time of 20:31.4. Lillian Thou finished in 24th place with a time of 23:19.1.
Amari Wrightsil (27:42.4), Kayla Ford (28:15.6), and Anaya Jones (28:59.0) completed the race for the Tigers, finishing 33rd, 34th, and 36th, respectively.
Unfortunately, the Grambling State men’s team had a DNF. However, Aidan Starling performed well individually, placing 23rd with a final time of 27:31.8.
