NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State basketball star Joe Bryant Jr. achieved his dream of playing professional basketball by signing with WKS Śląsk II Wrocław in Poland. Coach Robert Jones praised Bryant’s growth and wished him success. Bryant joins Kris Bankston and Dana Tate Jr. as former Norfolk State players who signed professional contracts this offseason. In his league debut, Bryant scored 16 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out three assists. He was named BOXTOROW HBCU Division I National Player of the Year for two consecutive seasons and led the Spartans to two MEAC Tournament titles.
